eAudiobooks
An eAudiobook is an electronic version of a printed book that you can listen to.

Titles can be renewed for longer periods if there are no other library users waiting for it.

eAudiobooks are provided to Kent library members by OverDrive and RBdigital.

OverDrive

eAudiobooks are provided to Kent library members by OverDrive via the Libby app, which can be downloaded onto a number of different devices including:

  • Android and iOS mobiles and tablets

  • Windows 10 devices

  • some Chromebooks

  • some eReaders including Kobo.

To borrow an eAudiobook you will need your library card number and library PIN.

eAudiobooks can be borrowed up to 12 items or you can reserve up to 8 items at one time, all lasting up to a loan period of 3 weeks, where after this time they are returned automatically.

If you wish to take a look at what eAudiobooks are available before signing up or downloading any apps, you can browse the OverDrive library without signing in.

To find our selection in Libby please search for Kent County Council.

Libby lets you change the size and display styles of the fonts to suit you, including dyslexic fonts.

RBdigital

RBdigital has an app which can be downloaded onto a number of different devices including:

  • Android and iOS mobiles and tablets

  • laptops

  • desktop computers.

To access RBdigital collections you will need to register and create an account using your library card number.

eAudiobooks users can borrow unlimited numbers of titles and reserve 1 item at a time, all lasting up to a loan period of 3 weeks, where after this time they are returned automatically.
